It Started with a Dream...
Daydreaming from his desk in the prime of his insurance career, Staylah’s founder, Matt Hammer, sought a meaningful escape from the day-to-day grind.
That dream sparked to life with his first vacation rental in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, a project that combined financial success (100%+ ROI) with the joy of creating a haven for family memories.
As Matt witnessed how vacations could inspire profound connection, he also saw how poor property management could ruin even the most beautiful stays. This insight fueled his vision: To set a new standard of hospitality, where every detail enhances the guest experience.
A personal loss deepened Matt's commitment to this mission. The passing of his mother highlighted the value of shared memories, often made during vacations. With this heartfelt purpose, Staylah was born—to help others create lasting moments with loved ones!
